Job Summary
Dailey Septic Services is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and safety-minded Septic Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work independently in the field, operating our service/vacuum trucks to pump, maintain, and troubleshoot residential and commercial septic systems.
If you enjoy hands-on outdoor work, mechanical problem-solving, and providing great customer service, we want to hear from you! A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is highly preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- System Operations: Safely operate company vacuum trucks and pumping equipment to service and clean residential and commercial septic tanks, holding tanks, and grease traps.
- Fieldwork & Labor: Locate and expose septic tank covers (requires manual digging up to 12-24 inches) and maneuver heavy suction hoses.
- Inspections & Troubleshooting: Perform basic visual inspections of septic infrastructure, troubleshoot blockages or slow-draining systems, and run high-pressure jetters or sewer cameras as needed.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with homeowners and business owners, explain service findings, and advise them on proper system maintenance.
- Vehicle Upkeep: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (checking fluids, tires, and tools) and keep the service truck clean and organized.
- Compliance & Paperwork: Accurately complete digital or paper work orders, service logs, and disposal manifests in compliance with local regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (Required).
- CDL Advantage: Class A or B CDL is highly preferred (Tanker endorsement is a major plus). Higher starting pay is available for licensed CDL drivers.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 75–100 lbs regularly, bend, squat, and perform manual digging.
- Weather Resilient: Comfortable working outdoors year-round in various weather conditions.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, basic mechanical aptitude, and a reliable “show up on time” work ethic.
- Background Check: Must be able to pass a standard DOT physical and drug screen.

Job Summary
Dailey Septic Services is expanding our team and seeking a reliable, hardworking General Labor / Construction Crew Member. In this role, you will assist with the construction side of our operations, performing manual labor and operating heavy machinery on various job sites.
If you have a strong work ethic, enjoy hands-on outdoor work, and want to gain experience running heavy equipment, we want to hear from you! While prior construction and equipment experience is a plus, we are fully willing to train the right individual who shows up on time and is ready to learn.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Construction & Labor: Perform a variety of manual labor tasks on active construction and service sites.
- Equipment Operation: Operate construction equipment including skid loaders, backhoes, excavators, and dozers after proper training.
- Site Support: Assist with projects that may intersect with basic plumbing or electrical components.
- Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe job site, and perform daily basic checks on tools and machinery to ensure proper function.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the crew leader and team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (Required).
- Equipment Experience: Experience operating a skid loader, backhoe, excavator, or dozer is highly helpful, but not required.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic plumbing or electrical knowledge is a plus, but not mandatory.
- CDL Advantage: A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is helpful, but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous manual labor, lift heavy objects, bend, squat, and work on your feet.
